My name is Samuel Tuffour and I am an undergraduate Computer Science & Engineering Major at Bucknell University (Class of 2028). I am also on the Premed Tack. I was born in Kumasi, Ghana but I am currently a resident of the United States in the Bronx, NYC. Please feel free to contact me! I would love to connect with anyone.
I was born in Ghana to a mom from Togo and a dad from Ghana. Growing up, I spent most of my time between these places before moving to the United States in 2023 to join my mom, who had been living here since 2013. Now in New York, I’m learning to balance and embrace all the different cultures that have shaped me—African roots, American life, and the spaces in between.
One thing about me—I really love food. My favorites will always be the Ghanaian dishes I grew up with: waakye, Ghana jollof, and indomie (and yes, some buldak when I’m broke). Since moving to the U.S., I’ve found a new love for Chinese food, especially some good fried rice. Outside of food, I enjoy video games and playing basketball, as you might have noticed from my previous section.
Living in the city, I’ve come to love anything that has to do with wheels—bike rides, scooters, and roller skates. There’s something peaceful about it, the sense of freedom that comes with moving through the streets and feeling the wind as you go.
I love dogs!
